Book Talk Club was established on 13 August 2025 as a volunteer-led initiative inspired by a passion for reading and learning. Since its beginning, the club has aimed to cultivate a vibrant reading culture and help shape an informed, thoughtful, and responsible society.
Each month, we organize theme-based gatherings called “ANUBHUTI” where folk read together, share insights, exchange books, and engage in meaningful discussions and creative activities. These sessions go beyond gaining knowledge — they encourage critical thinking, strengthen values, and promote cultural awareness.
At its core, Book Talk Club believes that reading transforms minds, builds character, and fosters a more aware and compassionate community.
We see reading as a powerful journey that refines personality, deepens understanding, and encourages mindful awareness.
By embracing meaningful works — particularly voices rooted in Indian heritage — we cultivate creativity, fresh ideas, and well-rounded development.
Our foundation rests on open conversations, diverse viewpoints, and a continuous pursuit of knowledge. Through wider book accessibility and active community participation, we aim to inspire confident individuals and a progressive, informed society.
“Just as a newborn child necessarily needs a mother’s milk, in the same way reading the works of Indian authors is essential for the development of an individual’s personality.”
Our aspiration is to shape a society where engaging with books becomes a pathway to interpreting life, encouraging deeper insight, meaningful conversations, and intergenerational understanding.
We are committed to celebrating Indian literary voices and bringing their narratives into contemporary discussions. Through rich reading experiences, we seek to develop self-assured individuals equipped with creativity, originality, and balanced growth in intellect, emotion, and social responsibility.
Ultimately, we strive to foster a perceptive, sensitive, and progressive community strengthened by the enduring impact of the written word.
Through these initiatives, we aim to strengthen confidence, enhance imagination, develop innovative thinking, and contribute to the holistic growth of individuals and society.
It promotes the habit of reading, thoughtful discussion, and lifelong learning through books.
